Trinidad Rum Punch
What You'll Need
Serves 20
- 1 litre water
- 500 g sugar
- 75 cl dark (preferably Trinidad) rum
- 40 cl lemon or lime juice
- 1 teaspoon of Angostura
How To Make
Boil water and dissolve the sugar. Add remaining ingredients. Serve hot and sprinkle with nutmeg. Originally a red hot poker was plunged into punch before serving - mainly for effect.
